Away from home

I was dreaming.
The wind, the cold,
The sound of crackers.
The stars, the songs,
The jingling bells of joy.

Walking in a merry chase,
With all my dearest people,
I saw all the scenes.
I saw all the scenes.

The Moon spread its joy on us,
We talked without stopping.
The wind was cold and soft,
We walked on a dusty road.

I was so happy that i was there.
The world meant so much to me.
I felt no grief,
I felt no pain.

....

When i woke up in the night,
I knew what i was dreaming about.
This was my first Christmas
Away from home.

Here Without You

A hundred days have made me older,
Since the last time that I saw your pretty face.
A thousand lies have made me colder
And I don't think I can look at this the same.

But all the miles that separate
They disappear now
When I'm dreaming of your face

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby,
And I dream about you all the time

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight, there's only you and me.

The miles just keep rolling,
As the people leave their way to say hello
I've heard this life is overrated,
But I hope that it gets better as we go.

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby,
And I dream about you all the time

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight girl, it's only you and me.

Everything I know and anywhere I go,
It gets hard but it won't take away my love
And when the last one falls,
When it's all said and done
It gets hard but it won't take away my love.

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby,
And I dream about you all the time.

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight girl, it's only you and me.

I walk alone

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone

I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line
Of the edge and where I walk alone

Read between the lines
What's fucked up and everything's alright
Check my vital signs
To know I'm still alive
And I walk alone

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone.

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me'
Til then I walk alone...

Haunted by my own shadow

I was straight into the business.
But, my thoughts prevented me.
Just as always, i thought.
I could do nothing but not caring.

Before me lay a pool of dust,
And ash i remember.
The world seemed very unfamiliar.
I felt the wind blowing hard on me.

I was talking to my senses.
But, they seemed to be not caring.
The leaves were falling
Just like the pain inside my head.

Shadows began dancing around me
I felt a sudden fall.
Without touching anything,
I jumped into my shoes.

This place was never an illusion,
Nor a place to hide myself
From the countless thoughts
That follows me wherever i go.

Chilled Dreams

I woke up early in the morning,
Without being called up by my daily alarm.
I lay uneasily on my bed
My heart pounding with fear.

I felt like being consumed;
Emptiness started to gulp me.
I knew nothing but fear.
I knew something is near.

The windows of my bedroom
Opened up in random.
Chilled wind started to flow in.
I could taste it on my skin.

Vague images stared at me
My thoughts felt a new pain
They paid no attention to me
I wanted to run away from there.

My feelings ignored my presence.
My sadness filled up my veins.
Blood started to come out
Through the holes of my mind.

Without wasting any time,
I just came out of my mind.
I felt like a forgotten hero.
Someone called out my name.

A walk down the memory lane - Chapter II

We walked again...

Naju was glowing in her orange+rose salwar.

She simply filled all snaps.

Divya was trying hard to prove that she is "matured".

But whatever she spoke out was enough to disprove her claim.

There was a new building near Mech Block.
The Fitness Centre is working in that building.
Looking at the board "Fitness Centre", Roise let out a sigh.
I still don't know the reason.
;-)

The small "hill" that had blocked the full-view of EC Block was not there.

Next came our favourite location.
On the way to EE Block.
Where we had clicked a number of photos.
First time, we had send-off cards in our hands,
Last time we hold grasses instead.
This time we sat there empty-handed.

We sat there, together.
Sumesh sir, Neethu, and Biju clicked photos.

Then we reached Electrical Block. [Our block!]

It was locked.

:-(

The garden was all messed up.
It was crowded with grass and weeds.

We stood in front of the car shed.
Roise pointed his hand to the windows of our classroom.

He asked everyone to do the same.

Everyone pointed their hands to that direction...
I clicked a shot.

We went in front of the Canteen.

It was also closed.

Work was progressing in the ground.

One basket-ball court was to see in the distance.

We started our return trip.

Divya was really excited to see the MH again.

Then, the girls went to LH.
We waited in front of the Ad-Block.

Santhosh [Unnikkuttan] sir also joined us.

After some time, Kuncheriya sir came.

He is the current principal.
Sumesh sir introduced us to him.

After half an our of impatient waiting and some "come-fast" calls,

the girls came back.

We got into Roise's Scorpio.

Naju commented : "Nammal ithrayum per mathram vannath bhagyam"!
Otherwise the space would have been insufficient!

We reached Summer Sand.
This time with no fixed budgets in mind.
Ready to order anything!

Memories again pumped into our minds.
Those study leave "admaadams"...

Within about two hours, we finished lunch.

Naju and Divya had to hurry, so they said their good-byes.
Then Roise and Neethu went to Changanassery.
Sumesh sir also left.

Biju, Dinu and me went to Kottaram while Neenu and Suman went to Punnamattams.

We returned from kottaram and waited at "Verpad Junction".
After two minutes, Suman and Neenu came.

Together, we walked to the Bus stop.

At Kalathipadi, we get off from the bus saying adieu to Neenu and Suman.
Biju needed some urgent consultation.

At Karipal Hospital, he got an injection.
Then we reached railway station.

"Venad Express" was late by half an hour.

Then, we left Kottayam by 7.20 pm.

Leaving behind the land of our golden days.
One more day to keep in memory.

We missed you, loved ones.
Hope we'll meet next time.

A Walk Down the Memory Lane

The day was excellent.
Back to the shore where innumerous memories sleep.
Memories that worth a life time...

As planned, we started from Trivandrum by 6.30am.
Biju was little week, he was having headache and fever.
Dinesh bought tickets.

Last night, i had gone for "Hallo" with my friends.
And reached my room only by 12.30.
And by 1.15, while asleep, i had got a msg from Biju, saying he's not sure about next day's journey.

Anyhow, he managed to come.

I was sure he would.
Coz he had never missed one trip.

By 9.45, we reached Kottayam R'Way station.
We watited there for Ekm Girls. They were coming by a passsenger train.
By 10am, Divya, Neenu, Naju and Neethu joined us.
Divya was repeating that she was become "matured".
Neenu was having some marvelous designs all over her pure white Churidar.
Naju showed her new bracelet to all.
Neethus looked "techie" with an N73.

Biju was very weak and he was sitting on a bench.
We moved to him.

Together, we went to Nagambadam Bus Station.
We caught a bus and reached Baker Junction.

From Aryas, we had our breakfast.
Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa and Ghee Roast.

Then, the gals bought some chocolates.
Divya bought a packet of sweets for her LH "chechi".

We caught "St. Maria" from Sasthri Road bus stop.

KK was very crowded.
Familiar places were passing by...
Kanhikkuzhy junction, Anju Anna's house, Manarcad, Annadivayal, 7th mile, 8th mile...

Then...

Nedumkuzhy...

Divya was full of excitement.

This was the first time she was landing there after leaving RIT!

The first difference we noted was Royce channels' new appearance.
Then, some new shops here and there.

Neethu got her chappal repaired from that footwear shop.

We wasted no time as Roise and Suman were waiting at the college with Sumesh Sir.

We walked...

The same road...

The same mood...

The same people, except some;

Still something missing...

We clicked some snaps.

It was a little raining.

We walked...
The same steps that no one knows the count.
Memories streamed through our minds...

Two girls were sitting on that short wall.
Exam time...

Someone asked : "Suunnykkutty, photostat edutho"?
...

New board in front of LH : "Periyar House"

At the stairway to office, Naju hushed: "Shh...."

Sumesh Sir, Roise and Suman were waiting for us.

We followed new rules:
Kept our foot wears on Rack 1.
Then, put our bags on Rack 2.

New rules were displayed.
Also some quotes...
Systems were neatly arranged.

What a change!

Sumesh sir broke out "jokes"; We rated it as "chalus".

Still no one could let him down.
He simply ruled the session.

After chatting for about half an hour, we started our usual "rounds".

We started from the cafeteria.

Two new huts...

A pair was sitting there with some books.
Studying..[?]

We found a stray dog with the brim of a pot around its neck.

Sumesh sir narrated the story ;-)

He added that he had once tried to get that brim away from that dog's neck.

The campus was the same old one.

No change.

Before Civil block, we posed for some snaps.

Neethus brought out her N73.

We walked again...
